70A Geylang Bahru

Additional & Alteration (A&A) Works at 70A Geylang Bahru (Damage by Fire) Project

The project started in the midst of the covid-19 pandemic and the project existing situation which was in the state of closure order, a lot of hindrances during the preliminary stages were met during the said period. The obstacles we experienced were mostly the safety of the said establishment from which, anytime some of the overhead structure will suddenly fall onto the inspecting personnel and workers. To avoid such danger, we created a step by step method of statement to totally omit the risks of any accidents or incidents.

Secondly, the time table given and required by the client is too short and even the application of permits were not realistic. To mitigate the timeline issue, we plan diligently the master schedule and do the actual work concurrently and safely.

We also requested & applied extension of time due to changes in the drawings and due to the additional fire safety requirement of the authorities, which was not included in the original contract. The completion of the project will be on 6 May 2022.

Jurong West NRP

NEIGHBOURHOOD RENEWAL PROGRAMME (NRP) TO BLOCKS 711 TO 731 JURONG WEST STREET 71/72 & AVENUE 5 (PHASE 2)

We are doing this construction on the time of Pandemic and all Contractor in Singapore is facing a big challenges like, shortage of manpower, delaying of materials supply from oversea and a short period of time given to us by Client & Developer.

Despite of short period of Contract or Schedule, We Premium Rich Engineering Pte Ltd is looking for alternative and best solution to align the site progress with the given schedule using different type of method of productivity like, doing off site fabrication to less manpower, to use more prefabricated materials to expedite the works and catch up the date of completion.

Current situation, construction sites can easily get complaints from neighbours due to noisy work or work late especially if it’s nearby to a residential areas. Another issue that always facing by Contractor is the safety of the neighbours, residents or other premises surrounded the construction site. To avoid the scenario, as a good Contractor, We always look into the safety measures and implement immediately before we mobilize the works.

167 Stirling Road

Construction of New Community Hall, upgrading to the existing linkway & drop off porch.

As the main contractor, we are facing unforeseen underground services routing that causes the foundation design to be revised to avoid clashing with the services.  The outdoor lift is to be built at the slope, temporary shoring system (sheet pile design) is to be in place to hold the soil during construction.  Other than that, the limitation of the construction access for heavy machinery access to the site, and it is very near to the existing HDB unit (<10m) is also tedious to the project team.
